Dr. Andrew Robinson
Dr. Robinson is a native of Syracuse and has enjoyed practicing in the Capital Region since 2007.
He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Chemistry before attending medical school at the University of Rochester. He then completed his intern year St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center and his ophthalmology residency at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse. Afterwards, he completed a fellowship in cornea and external disease at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston.
He provides comprehensive ophthalmic care and specializes in modern cataract surgical techniques, corneal transplantation, and the treatment of a variety of anterior segment and external ocular conditions.
He is currently Chief of Ophthalmology at Samaritan Hospital and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Robinson is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
